What are we processing your data for?

On a general basis, your personal data shall be processed to enable us to interact with you and provide you with our services.

Besides, it might be processedd for other purposes, such as sending you advertising material or promoting our activities.

Why do we need to process your data?

Your personal data is necessary for us to interact with you and provide you with our services. For that purpose, we shall provide you with a form including a series of checking boxes, so you might decide on the use of your personal data in a simple and clear wording.

Do we use analytics in the Workers Ibiza app?

Our mobile app for iOS and Android includes a product analytics tool that helps us understand how the app is used so we can improve it.

We only collect this data if you accept it. The first time you open the app we ask you, with "Accept" and "Reject" offered on equal terms, and nothing is collected until you accept. You can change your mind at any time from the app, in Menu > Privacy > Usage analytics. Rejecting, or withdrawing your consent later, does not limit any feature of the app.

If you accept, we collect:

  • The screens you open and the actions you take in the app, such as opening an event, applying a venue filter, changing the language or looking up your WorkerPass.
  • A random identifier created when you install the app, which does not identify you personally and disappears when you uninstall it.
  • Technical information about your device: app version, operating system and version, device model and language.

We never collect through this tool your name, email address, phone number, ID document type or number, date of birth, nationality, workplace or any other information you provide when you register as a worker.

This data is processed on our behalf by PostHog Inc., acting as our data processor under a data processing agreement, and is stored on servers located in the European Union. Any access from outside the European Economic Area is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR). We keep this data for a maximum of 12 months, after which it is deleted. It is never used for advertising, is not sold or shared with anyone other than the processor named above, and is not used to make automated decisions about you.

Who shall be given access to the personal data we collect from you?

On a general basis, only properly authorised staff from our entity shall be given access to the data we collect from you.

Likewise, those entities that might need to process your personal data shall be given access to it in order to enable us to provide you with our services. Thus, for instance, our bank shall be given access to your data if you make your payment of our services by bank card or wire transfer.

Furthermore, those entities, either public or private, by which we are bound to disclose your personal data in compliance with any regulation, shall be given access to it. Given for instance Tax Law, by virtue of which we have to provide the Spanish Inland Revenue with specific data regarding transactions exceeding a specific amount.

Aside from the above if we need to give access to your personal data to other entities, you shall be asked your prior consent through clear options enabling you to decide in this regard.

How shall we protect your data?

We shall protect your data with effective security measures according to the risk the processing of your data entails.

To that effect, our entity has approved a Data Protection Policy and monitoring, as well as annual audits are carried out to verify your data is kept safe unfailingly.
